News Update from Dave Gullette
Please feel free to send me emails personnaly via the website with any questions or concerns you may have. I will check them daily.
Once again I have members at the Plant (Peoria) that are willing to put their jobs on the line for "horse play" or unacceptable actions. I would personally hate to explain to my family I lost a good job over child play.
Remember, what you may think is funny, someone else could consture as harrassment or threating gesture. PLEASE THINK. While we the committee are busy dealing with the Company on some very major issue and preparing for an up and coming Contract. We have to stop and deal with some very immature issues and cost EVERYONE in the end. 99% of our members are great and we reconized you for that Quality. Please don't fall into that minority
WHEN BEING ADDRESSED BY THE COMPANY YOU NEED TO HAVE A UNION REPRESENTATIVE PRESENT. IF YOU ARE BEING QUESTIONED OR IF THER IS A CHANCE OF DISPLINARY ACTION GIVEN OUT TO YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE.

We would like to thank the membership for an exceptionally fantastic turn out for Sunday's meeting. The fact that it was a beautiful day and so many of you set all else aside to show up at the Meeting.
I was happy to see everyone's concerns for the upcoming contract. Many questions were asked about contract issues like vacations, scheduled or forced overtime R.M.S.A (retirement medical spending account) cost of living and so on so forth. There were a lot questions and answers on contract voting procedure and etc.
For those of you who did not make the meeting I will expect to see you're smiling faces at the meeting in May. This should be a good year for a contract with all of the members on board.
We had an executive meeting on Thursday March 22nd. The executive board decided by request of a lot members to order hats and possibly more shirts.
Once again thanks for a great turn out at Sundays meeting. Remember anytime you have a question or problem contact your Union Representative. Feel free to call me anytime.

First of all know your attendance policy if you have any questions about the attendance policy ask your Union Representative and know what the rules are.
Here is a strong suggestion to ALL members. Always keep a calendar! On this calendar keep track of your points (absence) hours worked, vacation time and P.F.H. days. Always keep track of your time and money!

CONGRATS ON YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENT
Graffiti and Illegally Defacing of Property
If caught writting graffiti you could loose your job. Remember customers that are wanting to buy our product are using those restrooms they dont need to see you air your dirty laundry. If you believe you are receiving deparate or unfair treatment. If you believe you are being harassed or bullied by supervision or any company employee.
CONTACT YOUR UNION REPRESENTITIVE AND YOUR SUPERINTENDENT
There are a alot of better ways to express yourself than thru graffiti. If you are indeed being harassed or recieved desparate treatment "WE" the union have several avenues to deal with this problem.

Harassment- Unwelcome behavior toward another person.
-Cover a broad range unwanted intrusions or advancement to another employee
-Could be stalking an employee
-Could be hazing or bulling another employee
-Harassment is "O" tolerance in the work place
Once again: Please remember your objective when you was seeking employment. Do not get caught up into something that could cost your job and even legal actions.
